Windorah is an outback town of Central West Queensland, Australia.
'Windorah' means 'place of big fish' in the local language. Located at the heart of the Channel Country and nestled along Cooper Creek, Windorah is famous for fishing, water sports and ancient artifacts in the red sand hill country.
Sleeves feature line art derived from the etching pattern on boomerang, womera and shield of the Mithaka people.
This design showcases 2 artworks of the indigenous artist Brett Gorringe - Channel Country on the front and Sea Turtle on the back. It depicts dreaming of where the channels meet the ocean.
Brett's work is inspired by his heritage, the Mithaka people, and country of Windorah, his hometown.
